Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and positive behavior
- Provide attentive care including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed
- Monitor pets for health concerns and promptly report abnormalities to supervisors
- Maintain detailed digital records of walks, observations, and client communications
- Transport pets in secure, climate-controlled vehicles when required
- Ensure thorough cleanup of waste during walks and at client properties
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and their owners through exceptional service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or walking experience
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Reliable insured vehicle with valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills with clear written and verbal abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Clean background check and excellent references
