Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs per group across Baltimore's diverse neighborhoods
- Administer medications and monitor pets' health during outings
- Maintain detailed client records and digital activity logs
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming sessions
- Plan engaging routes through Baltimore parks and waterfront areas
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents
- Attend monthly pet care certification workshops
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional knowledge of dog behavior and breed characteristics
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must pass comprehensive background check
