Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously using proper leash handling techniques
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, medication reminders as needed)
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations for each pet
- Adapt to varying client schedules and last-minute booking requests
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk dogs in varied Honolulu terrain (beaches, hills, urban areas)
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
