Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs (1-3 at a time) in designated Santa Ana neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, activities, and any notable incidents
- Transport pets to/from veterinary appointments or daycare when required
- Uphold strict safety protocols during walks and at client properties
- Communicate professionally with clients via our mobile app and phone
- Report maintenance issues or property concerns to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet sitting experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs and walk 3+ miles daily
- Certification in Pet First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Strong communication skills and client service mindset
- Must pass background check and drug screening
