Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Kansas City neighborhoods (1-3 dogs per walk)
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as per client instructions
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed digital logs of services rendered and pet observations
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via our mobile app
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals
- Represent Paws & Play KC with professionalism and enthusiasm
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Current pet first-aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
