Responsibilities
- Safely leash and walk dogs in designated Kansas City neighborhoods
- Monitor pets for health and behavioral changes during walks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime as requested
- Maintain detailed digital logs of pet activities and observations
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for all pets
- Manage multiple dogs simultaneously when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with digital tools for scheduling and reporting
- Passion for animal welfare and customer service
