Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and seasonal specialties using premium beans
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Train and mentor junior baristas on brewing techniques and product knowledge
- Manage inventory and maintain pristine cleanliness of equipment/cafeteria
- Contribute to menu innovation and seasonal promotions
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen team for food/beverage pairings
Qualifications
- 2+ years specialty coffee experience with advanced latte art skills
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Proven leadership ability in fast-paced service environments
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30 lbs
