Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, and teas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the espresso machine, counter area, and dining space.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with every interaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies (milk, pastries, beans) as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; comprehensive training provided.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Enthusiasm for coffee culture and a willingness to learn new brewing techniques.
