Responsibilities
- Execute complex beverage techniques including latte art, pour-overs, and espresso extraction
- Mentor junior baristas and maintain quality control standards
- Develop seasonal menus featuring local ingredients and innovative brewing methods
- Manage inventory ordering and cost control while maintaining zero-waste principles
- Foster guest relationships through personalized service and product education
- Collaborate with kitchen team on food-coffee pairings
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with advanced certification (e.g., SCA Espresso, Brewing)
- Proven expertise in latte art and multi-beverage preparation
- Strong leadership ability with training/coaching experience
- Knowledge of coffee sourcing, roasting profiles, and sustainability practices
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work high-volume shifts while maintaining precision
