Located in the vibrant Anaheim GardenWalk, our cafe attracts discerning coffee connoisseurs and tourists alike. As Lead Barista, you'll orchestrate daily operations while mentoring junior staff and maintaining our uncompromising quality standards. Responsibilities
- Execute specialty coffee techniques including espresso extraction, latte art, and pour-over methods
- Train and mentor baristas on product knowledge and customer engagement protocols
- Manage inventory of premium coffee beans and artisanal ingredients
- Develop seasonal beverage menus featuring local ingredients
- Ensure exceptional service through personalized customer interactions
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and operational standards
- Collaborate with management on staff scheduling and performance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of specialty coffee experience with advanced brewing certification
- Proven ability to create complex latte art and espresso-based beverages
- Strong leadership skills with team training experience
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of coffee bean origins, roasting profiles, and flavor profiles
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality
- Food Handler's and ServSafe certifications preferred
