Responsibilities
- Execute specialty coffee brewing techniques including espresso extraction, pour-over, and cold brew
- Train and mentor junior baristas on beverage preparation and customer service excellence
- Develop seasonal drink menus and conduct quality control of coffee products
- Manage inventory ordering and maintain pristine café sanitation standards
- Foster customer relationships through personalized beverage recommendations
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional barista experience with specialty coffee certification
- Expert knowledge of coffee bean origins, roasting profiles, and brewing science
- Proven ability to lead and train barista teams in high-volume environments
- Exceptional customer service skills with multilingual capabilities preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's certification and basic POS system proficiency
