Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for future market needs
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and patent research for strategic IP positioning
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and stakeholders securing $5M+ annual R&D budgets
- Mentor junior innovators while fostering a culture of calculated risk-taking
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable commercial offerings
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record launching products/services with 3+ years future-market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, AR/VR, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Demonstrated success securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation grants
