Responsibilities
- Merchandise Handling: Efficiently unload, organize, and stock incoming inventory onto shelves and racks to maintain optimal product availability.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform regular stock counts and ensure all product labels and pricing are accurate and up-to-date.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts to move heavy loads within the warehouse.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items meet company standards before placement on the sales floor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to prevent accidents.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations during early shifts.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 3:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, retail stocking, or logistics is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a professional setting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in inventory management tasks.
