Responsibilities
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks and transport it to the sales floor using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Stock shelves, racks, cases, and bins with new or replenished merchandise according to plan-o-grams.
- Ensure product displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
- Rotate stock to ensure older inventory is sold first (FIFO) and remove damaged or expired products.
- Organize backroom storage areas and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in inventory audits and report any discrepancies to the management team.
Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic math skills for scanning and inventory management.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
