Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, cold brews, and teas, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking accurate orders, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently, handle cash transactions accurately, and process digital payments.
- Restock inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, dairy, and cups to ensure seamless service throughout the shift.
- Clean and sanitize equipment regularly to prevent cross-contamination and ensure equipment longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to manage high-volume rushes and maintain service speed without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training for enthusiastic candidates.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and latte art techniques is a plus.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods (4-8 hours) while maintaining energy and focus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
