- Conduct horizon-scanning research on breakthrough technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech adoption
- Present strategic vision to investors and industry stakeholders at global tech forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor R&D teams in translating theoretical concepts into scalable commercial products
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on product roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, or quantum)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Proven track record leading cross-disciplinary innovation initiatives
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience at TED Talks or equivalent forums
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology commercialization successes
