Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and technological convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Produce executive-level foresight reports with actionable recommendations for strategic pivots
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough innovations
- Design and launch experimental innovation programs with measurable ROI targets
- Monitor global trend signals and disruptor patterns to inform organizational strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, sustainable tech, neurotech)
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Shell, WFS)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation portfolio
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals
- Experience scaling innovation programs within Fortune 500 environments
