Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies and market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning initiatives to identify future opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist partners across academia and industry
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and disruption
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across organizational functions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex stakeholder engagement
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF preferred)
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
