Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and space exploration sectors
- Develop and maintain the 2026-2030 technology innovation roadmap with quantifiable impact metrics
- Facilitate executive workshops on emerging tech disruption and strategic pivots
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Translate foresight into product development initiatives with 18-36 month timelines
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to board members and investors
- Mentor cross-functional teams in innovation methodologies and speculative design
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing futuristic concepts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AGI ethics, neurotech, climate engineering, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in top-tier futurist publications (e.g., Future Journal, Trend Report)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ successfully implemented future-forward initiatives
