Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in prototyping exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Design human-centric innovation frameworks balancing technological advancement with ethical implications
- Present future-state visions to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, keynotes, and patent development
- Monitor global tech signals and geopolitical shifts to identify emerging opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and strategic design thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-state strategies with measurable business impact
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced biotech)
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate domains into coherent narratives
- Experience advising C-suite executives on transformational technology adoption
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- Portfolio of published future-vision frameworks or implemented innovation roadmaps
