Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech AI systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Identify emerging tech disruptions through competitive intelligence and academic partnerships
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Oversee prototype development for AR/VR metaverse infrastructure
- Establish KPIs for measuring ethical AI implementation success
- Secure partnerships with federal agencies for next-gen tech standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ in emerging tech leadership
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on quantum/AI ethics
- Proven track record of scaling innovative tech from concept to market
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from DARPA/NSF
