Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AR/VR, neuromorphic chips) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging sectors
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future tech into corporate strategy
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and industry stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovators in technology forecasting and risk assessment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner, Tech Strategy)
- Experience with agile methodologies and lean startup principles
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication with executive stakeholders and technical teams
