Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (e.g., quantum AI, neuro interfaces, carbon-negative systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and innovation pipeline maturity
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with precise resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations in Fortune 500 environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences and investor pitches
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional) required
