Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through market analysis and patent research
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused prioritization
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA-affiliated research centers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at scale
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., Nature Tech, IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
