Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, biotech convergence, decentralized systems)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Secure $5M+ in strategic funding through NSF grants and venture capital partnerships
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption and ROI
- Mentor a team of 15+ PhD researchers and innovation specialists
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and IEEE Future Horizons conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards and government agencies
- Published author in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Patent portfolio with 15+ granted patents in AI or distributed systems
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TF) or Strategic Innovation Management
