Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for competitive positioning
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen solutions including decentralized systems and neuro interfaces
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders with clear ROI projections and risk assessments
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of experimental prototyping
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching disruptive products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or climate-tech AI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Prior leadership in cross-cultural, matrixed organizations
