Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, uptime, and performance metrics.
- Execute routine maintenance, patch management, and security updates.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software server failures.
- Configure and manage virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Assist in the deployment of new server builds and configurations.
- Document system changes and maintain technical logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory.
- CompTIA Server+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- Ability to work evenings or weekends as required by on-call rotation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
