Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints integrating quantum computing and machine learning
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Establish ethical governance protocols for autonomous systems and biotech innovations
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions (AR/VR, robotics)
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven 2026+ roadmap delivery
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech frameworks
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience leading $50M+ R&D initiatives in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Track record of launching technologies achieving unicorn valuations
- Security clearance preferred for defense-adjacent projects
