Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market inflection points
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future innovations into commercial pipelines
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong network within venture capital and research communities
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (preferred)
