Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Identify and assess partnership opportunities with startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Design and execute innovation pilots with measurable ROI for future-facing technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team focused on 2026 technology horizons
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes affecting future technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; PhD preferred
- 12+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing and executing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across technology, product, and business domains
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, startups, research institutions)
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
