Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026-2028
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies with commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to secure early-stage IP
- Develop risk mitigation frameworks for ethical and societal implications of disruptive technologies
- Present technology foresight reports to executive leadership and investment committees
- Manage innovation pipeline from concept validation to pilot program launch
- Drive thought leadership through industry publications and conference speaking engagements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in emerging technology commercialization or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products/services from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data into actionable strategies
- Experience securing R&D funding and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or similar strategic innovation credential
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
