Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ innovations
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and patent intelligence gathering
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and stakeholders
- Build industry partnerships with tech pioneers and research institutions
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning abilities
- Experience with patent analysis and technology forecasting
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation spaces
