Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 2026+ technology strategy aligning with company vision and market disruption goals
- Lead research on emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and scalable deployment of future-facing solutions
- Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to integrate future tech into customer experiences
- Present strategic roadmaps and impact analyses to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage an innovation ecosystem including startups, academic institutions, and tech vendors
- Drive organizational change management to embed future-tech capabilities across all departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Expertise in technology forecasting, scenario planning, and disruption analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional global teams
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or demonstrated industry recognition
