Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, biotech integration, and neural interfaces
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Develop patentable frameworks for human-AI symbiotic systems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on joint ventures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products valued at $50M+
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms, generative AI, and AR/VR ecosystems
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants for futuristic projects
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies in the last 5 years
