Responsibilities
- Architect scalable frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market demands
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Collaborate with ethics committees to ensure responsible innovation deployment
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in future-tech methodologies and ethical tech practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in architecture/technical leadership with 3+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or sustainable systems architecture
- Proven track record of shipping production-level future-tech prototypes
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on forward-looking technologies
- Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Experience with agile methodologies in R&D environments
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on future technologies
