The Role
You will lead our strategic planning committee to ensure we are not just keeping up with 2026 trends, but setting them. Your insights will drive our R&D roadmap and influence investment decisions for the next decade.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technology roadmap for the 2026 era, focusing on scalability and interoperability of emerging tech.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, AR/VR) to predict market shifts and competitive advantages.
- Future-Proofing: Assess current infrastructure against 2026 standards to recommend necessary upgrades and architectural changes.
- Innovation Labs: Lead the internal 'Future Lab' initiative, fostering a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technological predictions into clear, compelling narratives for investors, C-suite executives, and product teams.
- Partnerships: Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets or strategic partners in the future tech space.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, technology consulting, or executive leadership within the tech industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of current and upcoming tech stacks, specifically Generative AI and Quantum Computing principles.
- Forecasting Skills: Proven track record of accurately predicting tech trends and market disruptions.
- Leadership: Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, long-term strategic problems with creative solutions.
