Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out processes using EMR systems
- Handle high-volume phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential information
- Coordinate with clinical staff for patient flow management
- Prepare evening reports and maintain reception area organization
- Assist with patient education materials and wayfinding
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year receptionist or customer service experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced medical environments
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexible schedule availability (evening shifts 3pm-11pm)
- Valid CPR certification preferred
