Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using precise brewing techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service through personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of coffee station and service areas
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash and digital payments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies and retail products
- Participate in ongoing training to expand coffee knowledge and service skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional barista experience in specialty coffee environments
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean varieties, and flavor profiles
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced settings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic cash handling and POS system proficiency
- Valid Oregon food handler's certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
