Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and genuine enthusiasm
- Maintain a pristine, organized workspace including espresso machines, brewing equipment, and seating areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during peak hours
- Process transactions accurately using our POS system while handling cash and digital payments
- Contribute to inventory management by tracking supplies and communicating restock needs
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with expertise in espresso extraction and latte art
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build customer rapport
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
