Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks while maintaining strict quality standards
- Engage customers with warm, personalized service and product knowledge
- Manage cash transactions and POS systems with accuracy
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and seating areas
- Collaborate with team to optimize inventory and minimize waste
- Train new baristas on brewing techniques and café operations
- Develop seasonal drink menus and promotions to drive foot traffic
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience required
- Proficiency with espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining composure
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Food safety certification preferred (ServSafe)
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
