Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, pour-overs) following signature recipes
- Deliver exceptional customer service with genuine warmth and product knowledge
- Maintain spotless cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Process cash/POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow during peak hours
- Source and recommend premium coffee beans to customers
- Contribute to innovative seasonal menu development
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional coffee preparation experience
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in high-volume settings
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- ServSafe certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Passion for sustainable coffee practices and local sourcing
