Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, patient intake, and electronic health record documentation
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Manage patient flow and ensure clean, organized exam rooms
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care delivery
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling (days/evenings/weekends)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Valid Missouri healthcare provider credentials
- Attention to detail and multitasking ability
