Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.
- Greet customers with a warm smile, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations.
- Maintain a pristine coffee bar and dining area, ensuring all equipment is clean and sanitized.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and POS systems efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely.
- Learn and demonstrate latte art techniques to enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a flexible availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
- A valid Food Handler's card or willingness to obtain one.
- A genuine passion for coffee and a desire to learn.
