Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty coffee drinks with precision.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a pristine and welcoming cafe environment, including sanitizing workstations and equipment.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Assist in food preparation and plating to ensure high-quality presentation.
- Manage inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for our shift-based schedule.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- A valid food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
