Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and seasonal specials
- Engage warmly with customers, remembering preferences and building loyalty
- Maintain spotless workspace and ensure sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems and process cash/transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team during peak hours and manage inventory
- Contribute to creative menu development and seasonal promotions
- Train new baristas on coffee techniques and customer service
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year coffee shop experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods and bean varieties
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
