Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee beverages (espresso, lattes, pour-overs)
- Engage customers with warm, personalized service
- Maintain immaculate station hygiene & inventory
- Operate POS systems & process transactions
- Collaborate with team during peak rushes
- Contribute to seasonal menu development
- Train new baristas on brewing techniques
Qualifications
- 1+ year coffee shop experience preferred
- Knowledge of specialty coffee techniques
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including weekends)
- Basic math & POS proficiency
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for Seattle's coffee culture
