Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care activities, including vital signs, hygiene, and mobility support.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient conditions throughout the shift and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Transport patients to diagnostic imaging, laboratory, or other departments as needed.
- Answer patient inquiries and provide general assistance to visitors.
Qualifications
- Current CNA, EMT, or PCA certification (or equivalent experience) is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical or patient care setting is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new medical software quickly.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule.
