Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso-based drinks and pour-over coffee using premium Blue Bottle beans
- Deliver personalized customer service with product knowledge recommendations
- Maintain spotless cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Process cash and digital payments accurately with POS systems
- Collaborate with team during peak evening rushes to ensure seamless operations
- Support inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or coffee service experience
- Strong multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments
- Basic cash handling and POS system proficiency
- Flexible availability for evening shifts (4-10 PM, including weekends)
- Knowledge of specialty coffee brewing methods preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the US
- San Francisco Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
