Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake assessments and vital sign measurements
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced evening environment
- Flexibility to work 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM shifts, including weekends
- Attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
