Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in residential neighborhoods and designated parks
- Provide feeding, fresh water, and administer medications as required
- Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns to pet parents promptly
- Maintain accurate logs of walks, services, and pet observations
- Ensure all pets are secured with proper leashes and harnesses
- Clean up after pets and maintain professional appearance during service
- Communicate effectively with clients via text/email updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification preferred
- Strong physical fitness to handle active dogs in Arizona heat
- Exceptional time management and punctuality skills
- Trustworthy background check required
- Ability to manage multiple dogs simultaneously
- Local knowledge of Chandler neighborhoods
